#Netflix app for pc stutter driver
Well after installing Nvidia's new driver 391.24, the stuttering is much better, but is still visible, but only slightly.
is what I generally use when I "just want to see" if that may be the case.Īlso, have you checked to see if either GC or FF have any updates of their own? I know said all is well in Edge, but I'm curious if you've run speed tests to see if perhaps you're getting some interference or experiencing abnormal ping from your ISP. If rolling back doesn't address it, it makes me think something else is going on.

If I put 1703 from a fresh install, it's fine.you can upgrade or downgrade drivers and it's fine.Ĭonsidering Netflix is a combo of HTML and Silverlight, I doubt the Flash would have any affect on the stutter.

The thing is about the previous problem that was similar to this was I could do a complete new install of 1709, but once I updated the drivers, Netflix was all screwed up, but so was any video local and over the Internet. We get 100/100 Mbps Up and Down and you can see, we get that and the ping was 6ms so it's perfect.

Welcome to the community!! The Adobe Flash Security update only affects Edge and IE so I doubt it interferes with Firefox and Chrome. My current is 1709 OS Build 16299.309ĭoes anyone have any ideas as to what it may be? It doesn't matter though as even when I use System Restore to go back before the update, it still does the same thing, just like when I updated from 1703 to 1709 or did a fresh install of 1709 with an earlier OS build.
I wonder if the Adobe Flash security update in it is the cause or just the big update? Since then, it's been fine until the KB4088776 updated today, but this doesn't affect YT but affects Netflix on FF and Chrome, but not Edge? The KB4088776 cumulative update also included KB4088785 Adobe Flash Player Security Update. Then I formatted and did a fresh install of 1709 and did the exact same thing, but I was using a slightly earlier OS Build that I don't remember, but I went back to 1703 until about a month and a half ago. I even went back to the original driver with 1709 and it still did the same thing. This happened to me once before, but it was more serious, but nothing breaking Windows 10, however after I upgraded from 1703 to 1709 and then updated my Nvidia driver to whatever the default was.don't remember, it would cause REALLY noticeable stuttering not only on Netflix, but also running any YouTube video and it affected all browsers. I've only tried cleaning out everything in FF, but that's it. For example, an improperly configured Windows 10 can lead to catastrophic performance issues in games. So after I installed KB4088776 I immediately noticed that Netflix has a stuttering issue when using Chrome or FireFox.
Try setting your CPU to its default clock, it could be unstable or not work well with this state of the game.īeyond that, what operating system are you running on? It does matter whether you may think so or not. Check that your system is actually using your gpu and not integrated graphics. Now, the game is only optimized around certain setups, but most should simply overpower it, like yours. Much worse specs on my end and the only serious issue I've been dealing with since June are hitches on kill, death, getting hit, shooting things with pellet weapons (airhammer), etc.Īs you can see, not that impressive in comparison. Your system shouldn't run the game bad unless there's something seriously wrong with it. It may look bad, but trust me when I say it runs much better. Game isn't built to run at 4k and is kicking your card's booty. First off, I know you're probably going to tell me that all other games run fine and not Planetside 2, but let's continue anyway.Ĭan start by lowering your resolution.
